FIBRATEC V13-MO is the alkali resistant fiberglass with the highest Zirconium content worldwide, specially designed to add to mortars, monolayers, facade paints, self-leveling mortars, chlorinated rubber and other cementitious matrices in order to avoid micro-cracking and this way replace the placement of veils and nets.
They are filaments of 13.5 microns in diameter totally loose and cut to 13mm in length, which are distributed in a totally homogeneous way within the dough without leaving a trace on the surface and improving the texture of each product when dosed in the adequate amounts.
Provides speed, simplicity and quality eliminating much of the labor since it is mixed at the beginning with the dough and does not require carrying out the work in two stages, nor the placement of meshes. The meshes must be placed very precisely to be effective and not leave marks on the surfaces. Its effect is only two-dimensional and limited to the area in which it has been placed, usually transferring the stresses to the edge of the mesh.
When we use Fibratec V13-MO we achieve a continuous and three-dimensional reinforcement throughout the mass, relieving tensions and stitching the microcracks at the moment of their appearance.
Fibratec V13-MO is also very easy to transport since it is not a roll 1 m wide and 50 m long. These are 200 g bags that fit in a pocket and are equivalent to a mesh size of between 5 and 15 m2 depending on the thickness of the monolayer. It can also be supplied in 20 kg plastic bags.

The tensile breaking strength of AR fiberglass is higher than that of steel (1620N / mm2 vs 1200N / mm2), hundreds of millions of fibers work together to provide continuous reinforcement throughout the mass.

MULTIFILAMENT POLYPROPYLENE FIBER
It helps to avoid micro-cracking caused by the sudden drying of the concrete, retaining the water in the mix and acting like a sponge.
Unfortunately, it does not guarantee an effective work because it is not distributed evenly in the concrete mass due to its specific weight very different from that of concrete. (0.9 gr / cm³ versus 2.4gr / cm³). As a result, we can observe many places without any fiber and others with excess fiber and floating on the surface forming nasty balls and lumps.
It cannot replace a mesh since its distribution will not be continuous and will be very uneven.
Dries the mortar causing the addition of water and consequent weakening of its final resistance and favoring micro-cracking.
Melting temperature: 173ºC
Leaves hairs on the surface, causes balls and lumps to form, and makes the addition of other liquid additives difficult because it absorbs them.

ALKALI-RESISTANT FIBERGLASS FIBRATEC V13-MO
It sews the hundreds of millions of micro cracks produced by the entire mass of the concrete at the very moment of its appearance thanks to its homogeneous distribution and its high resistance to breaking by traction. (specific weight similar to that of concrete, 2.68 gr / cm³ vs. 2.45gr / cm³).
This immense network of fibers at all heights of the thickness of the cementitious matrix hinders the loss of water equally, favoring the hydration of the cement and the distribution of the stresses produced by curing.
EXTENDS THE LIFE OF THE MORTAR.
Replace the meshes and veils by creating a three-dimensional lattice by perfectly stitching the matrix and distributing all the stresses.
It does NOT require adding water because it does not absorb. It can be added if you want an additive to modify the desired consistency in the mortars.
Melting temperature:> 1500 ° C. Suitable for high temperature applications.
The surface is excellent without a trace of fibers and ready to polish, print and add any additive. It disperses with total homogeneity throughout the concrete mass in minutes.

Adding, mixing and packing:
Add and mix in a concrete mixer or with a mixer ALWAYS AS THE LAST COMPONENT for a few seconds or minutes until it is evenly distributed.
SINGLE COATS AND MORTARS FOR
SINGLE-LAYERS: Add 200 g of Fibratec V13-MO for every 4 bags of 25 kg of monolayer.
MORTARS: Add 200 g for each 25 kg bag of cement
Add between 1 and 5 g of Fibratec V13-MO for each liter of material, adjusting to the desired consistency. Drastic decrease in dripping and cracking.
MICROCEMENT BASE AND SELF-LEVELING MORTARS
SELF-LEVELING MORTAR: Add 200 g for every 500 kg of dry self-leveling mortar.
MICROCEMENT BASE: Add 200 g for every 200 kg of dry microcement base.
